A 110-room, $22 million hotel is planned for the open acre of space across from Summer Street,  where First Bristol’s current hotel is located; the Homewood Suites by Hilton.  The hotel will be six stories tall, including under-building parking to maximize space and convenience.

The historic 19th-century building at 37 Park Street, once home to Atlantis Charter School and the Dominican Academy, will be transformed into 68 market-rate apartments following unanimous approval. The $17 million project will convert the former convent into 25 studio apartments, 25 one-bedroom units, and 18 two-bedroom units, with 75 off-street parking spaces available next to Saint Anne’s Shrine.
